Welp, I've resisted the trend as long as I could, but nonetheless, here is my <gulp> Blog!.... There, I've said it. Hmmm.. that wasn't so bad. I remember a time not long ago, when you said the word "Blog" and people would kinda twist their heads like a puppy dog hearing a weird sound. I even overheard an older lady say "What's these blogs I hear about...you get them at the supermarket?"
I've had a lot to say about things I see around me, mostly to my wife Heather, who gladly listens while thinking about shoes and fluffy furry things. I don't blame her. I can get rather carried away at times. Actually, all kidding aside, we have some pretty intelligent exchanges of ideas. She's as conservative as I am. Hopefully, she will be adding her comments here on this blog. She's probably a better writer than I am too, so it should be interesting. I don't know what I would do without her.
See, I'm tired. I'm tired of the way the culture is headed. I'm tired of politicians, most of them are full 'o' crap. I'm tired of these corporate heads who make millions unjustly while their workers struggle, I'm tired of the lies the oil companies feed us. I'm tired of special interest groups influencing our children's education curriculum. I'm tired of lobbying groups set up by large corporations, which influence laws that reduce our freedoms, just to enrich themselves. I'm tired of One-sided mass media that seems to have a single liberal political view. I'm tired of the stupid people who fall for all this crap, which further perpetuates it all.
So I hope you'll read this blog, Link to it, pass it around and make it popular, and add to it. Maybe together, we'll make a big difference.
